OK, sue because I like my pizza extra thin and extra GOOD. Neo Pizza delivered (literally) both.
Neo Pizza was the food sponsor for the monthly meeting of the Dallas Social Media Club that was held at the offices of BuzzShift. Neo had all bases covered. From Pizza’s to Sandwiches to desert.
I think I could see me taking a crew after a round of golf down to Neo’s for my after golf business golf session..I know all will leave happy and not hungry. Can’t wait.

Met an old high school friend for a sunny lunch. Everything was casual and spot on. Lunch items include 9″ personal pizzas for $7-9, and sandwiches in the same price range, which is a good deal for pizza of this quality, and for being near the W. Space was new, clean and comfortable. Neo I love you. Plus it’s closer to my house, and more spacious than Olivella’s in SMU, same owners. Grazie.

Charlie Green is on a roll. Neo is his latest project after opening Snider Plaza’s Olivella’s, which quickly generated buzz within the SMU and University Park circles.

And now he’s giving us a different take on pizza in Victory Park. Neapolitan style pies are taking the city by storm, but unlike so many of the newer establishments, none taste as genuinely fresh as Neo.

We tried The Dream –sauce, house-made mozzarella, gorgonzola, pancetta, chicken, and jalapeno. The mix of ingredients meshed well. The bites were spicy enough without overbearing the taste.

It’s worth noting the increase in the aesthetic-conscious pizzerias around the Dallas area. Neo, along with Fireside, Coal Vines and others, take satisfaction in creating an intimate mood to supplement your crust. It was dark and modern with a traditional touch. The location is conducive to downtown denizens and Victory Park lunch crowds.

I wish it was a little cheaper… it’d keep me away from close competitors. But overall, great scene and quality pizza to match.

After attending a preview of this place back in May, I knew I had to come back for more. Boy, am I sure glad I did!

For peak dinner hours on a weekday night, this place sure was empty. I really hope they succeed over in this location but it’s hard to say if they will – the area is notorious for chewing up businesses and spitting them back out on the street. A few people started to arrive later in the evening though to sit on the back patio, so maybe it’s more of a chill place for peeps who live nearby.

Their signature Limontini, which tastes like a boozy frozen lemonade, is only two bucks during happy hour. A couple of those and everything will be right in the world!

And good heavens, that truffle mayo for the sandwiches is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted – it’s creamy with a unique taste I can’t describe other than “awesome.” I had the waiter throw an extra ramekin of it in my takeout bag for later!

Speaking of the sandwiches, I think they’re even better than the pizza! The mozzarella is made in their kitchens and the bread is baked fresh every morning by them.

However, the Neo pie is my favorite. It’s thin and crispy, not overloaded with sauce and the toppings were delicious. The edges were a bit too burned for my taste though and I wish there was more basil, but no complaints otherwise.

So I hope this place is around for a long time to come. First of all, there are not too many food options down here in Victory Park.

The pizza selections are ones you’ve never heard of. The menu is mouth-watering good, and the service is friendly and welcoming. Fresh ingredients and a stellar happy hour ($2 wells 2pm-7pm M-F & personal pan pizzas) make the perfect combo for any time you are hungry and just want something to eat without breaking the bank.

I WILL be back!

My first Yelp event! Met up for a CMYE last night at Neo’s for some carbo loading and great conversation. Shared some of the foccacia and the Neo pizza. The waitress explained that the same amount of dough is used for the pizzas–just rolled thinner for the larger size. If you like crispy thin, then order the large. If you prefer thicker and chewy outer crust, chose the smaller. I had the dream pizza. The sandwhiches looked really good and large.

The limontini was refreshing–frozen concoction of vodka and limoncello. $2 during happy hour makes me happy. I also had beer with my pizza.

Great patio areas–one on each side of the restaurant and both dog friendly. Flat screen televisions to catch a game.
